9 Branded Winter Promotions Ideas
When the temperature starts to get colder everyone starts thinking about how to keep warm & dry during the winter season. Warm Jackets are a must as well as accessories such as hats, gloves and scarves. These are practical items that can be branded and worn promoting your company every day.
Branding on ‘Winter’ Items: What you NEED to know
The jackets can be printed with the Supacolour branding as well as screen printed or embroidered. I would always recommend embroidery on apparel as it looks smarter. I would recommend embroidery for the beanies and the blankets. The thermal mugs & drink bottles can be pad printed, screen printed or laser engraved.
Supacolour: A reasonably new and cost-effective way of branding. The colour is produced digitally producing photo quality art and high detail. The images can have millions of colours without the costly setup fees and can be positioned anywhere on the garment.
Screen print: ideal for branding apparel as large print areas are possible and is ideal for large solid areas of colour. Close PMS matches are possible on white or light coloured apparel.
Screen printed transfers: Instead of being directly screen printed onto garments the design is printed onto transfer paper then applied with a heat press. They can be single or multicolour and heat applied in seconds to any number of clothing items. This process uses the same inks and processes as other types of screen printing but produces equivalent quality and is more economical for small runs.
Embroidery: An excellent way of branding apparel as it has a higher perceived value and a depth of branding quality which other processes cannot match. Embroidery uses a rayon thread which is stitched into the product which gives the finished image a slightly raised effect.
Pad print: One of the most popular & affordable ways of branding products due to its ability to reproduce images on uneven or curved products & print multiple colours in a single pass.
Screen print: Ideal for branding thermal mugs & drink bottles as large print areas are possible and is ideal for large solid areas of colour.
Laser engrave: Produces a permanent natural finish that becomes part of the surface. It has a higher perceived value than other forms of branding. However, different materials produce different effects when engraved so to avoid uncertainty pre-production samples are recommended.
